Super Saturday Distance Challenge

Saturday 8th April will host our first Oakley Pedalers Super Saturday for 2023. This challenge will kick off our series of special events planned for the season ahead. Each Super Saturday event will offer our club members the opportunity to challenge themselves, but we won’t be taking things too seriously as we plan to have a lots of great coffee stops and a whole heap of fun whilst spending time in the saddle with our cycling buddies.

Our distance challenge this year will be a formidable century plus event.  For many OP members this will be their first century of the season so we are hoping that as many as possible will get involved in this first cycling challenge of 2023. We have a big year ahead of us so this fun event will certainly help to get the legs fired up and provide plenty of enthusiasm for the season ahead.

100 Mile Route: Honey Street

For intermediate and advanced riders, we have planned a 100 mile ride with a light lunch at the stunning Honey Street Cafe,  Pewsey Vale, SN9 5PS. For those with a hefty appetite, and the need to refuel those legs we also have an option for a second shorter stop at The Tea Cosy, at Hurstbourne Tarrant where you can satisfy your taste buds with the most amazing cakes and coffee waiting for you.

100M Distance Challenge

Equally challenging will be the shorter 78 mile route for those that may not have the time, or the legs, to participate in the longer route.
